On Nov 12th, the HIMS PTSA held its Fall General Meeting covering sponsored events, fundraising new volunteering process, and Spirit Wear. We also dove into an academic view of Math Pathways, Parent survey results and heard from the Principal on the backpack policy and other school updates.

Key updates with next steps include

  • New volunteering process : Volunteering at the school can be a great way to connect with other HIMS families, students and staff. Be sure to your volunteering status so you don’t miss the next opportunity!
  • Fundraising : We kicked off the Hamilton PTSA Fall Fund Drive, an annual fundraiser that helps fund crucial programs including gaps in staffing costs, classroom supplies, scholarships and events such as Hawk Day that bring the Hamilton community together. Donate by December 19th (suggested $350 per student) and help us get closer to our goal of $170,000 so that we can continue to say YES to Hamilton students and teachers.
  • Join the PTSA board : We have open positions on the PTSA including a new role to lead the centenntial celebrations which will be in Jan 2027. If you are interested in joining the PTSA board, do contact president@hamiltonptsa.org.

Thank you to all the contributors and attendees that added to the engaging discussions.
