Hello, Hawks, from the Hamilton Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)!

We hope you had a restful summer and are happy to be back in the school community. Our board members met in early August for a lively, productive retreat, and we’re building on last year’s momentum to plan activities for the 2024–25 school year that are better than ever.

Click here to learn more about what PTSA volunteers and funds accomplished last year, and what’s on our minds so far this year. As our middle schoolers would say if they agreed with this sentiment, the PTSA will be FIRE this year, with major AURA. 😉

As you fill out all your back-to-school paperwork, we have two asks:

  • Join up! Join or re-join to become part of the vibrant 2024–25 PTSA community that supports the academic, social, health and safety needs of Hamilton students, staff and families. The cost is $15 per person, with financial support available and requests kept confidential—please email [email protected]. Membership fees go toward national, state and local council fees, insurance and other requirements we have as a 501(c)(3) organization.
    • Please note: The Washington State PTA has switched this year to a membership program called Givebacks, so the page will appear different than in years past. Click here to join the Hamilton PTSA for the 2024-25 school year.
  • If you prefer to print out and fill in a form and write a check instead of filling out the online form, please click here. You may return the printed form and your check, made payable to Hamilton Intl PTSA, to the school office or mail them to Hamilton International PTSA, 1610 N 41st St. Seattle, WA 98103.
  • Complete your volunteer registration – or just make sure it’s up to date. Get this SPS paperwork done now so that you can help out inside the school building with assemblies, Hawk Days, Pi Night, field trips, the 8th grade dance and more. Click here to learn more and register.

Also, we are actively seeking to fill some board positions: Vice President, Treasurer-in-Training and 7th Grade Family Rep. If you’re interested in learning more, please contact [email protected].

As always, we are here to listen and support the community. Please watch for PTSA updates in Dr. Marshall’s weekly memos and have a great year.

Best,

Molly Spence Sahebjami
